Welcome to
L'Atelier de Gaëlle
Originally from the UK, my fascination with ceramics began in secondary school, where I first felt the pull of clay between my hands. At sixteen, the potter’s wheel at the Academy of Fine Arts became my world — a place where motion and material met in quiet balance. Since then, I’ve shaped my craft across numerous studios and under the guidance of inspiring artists — from the Matthew Arnold School in Oxford to the ateliers of Carol Youngner, Julie Bodenghien, Jean-Luc Viot, and Cendrine Magisson in Belgium. Each collaboration left a unique imprint on my artistic voice.
Today, I am a recignised certified artisan. My work moves beyond the traditional boundaries of form, color, and function. I find beauty in irregularities — in the asymmetry, the rough edges, the traces of the maker’s hand — where imperfection becomes its own kind of harmony.
